When we struggle to feel seen, heard, or understood by our partner, it can bring up deep frustration, pain, and loneliness. Patterns that once seemed small can grow into walls that feel hard to climb. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to reconnect.

In couples work, I provide a non-judgmental, structured space where both of you can speak and be heard. Together, we’ll explore the dynamics between you – not just the content of your conflicts, but the underlying needs, wounds, and longings that shape them. Using integrative tools and practices – including communication work, emotion-focused techniques, and somatic awareness – we’ll begin to rebuild trust, increase understanding, and create space for real connection.

Sometimes, issues can be resolved with only a few sessions. But for deeper issues, couples therapy requires commitment. Weekly or fortnightly sessions create a steady rhythm where safety, clarity, and momentum can grow. This consistent space helps us go beyond managing conflict and toward healing the patterns that keep you from fully showing up for each other. With time, intention, and support, it’s possible to move from disconnection to deeper intimacy, respect, and shared purpose.

Sessions can be either online or in-person, however, when I am on retreat, there may be certain times when ONLY ONLINE SESSIONS are available. If this is the case, it will be flagged up on the website.

£120 per 50-minute single session.
£240 per 100-minute double session.

Background

Angus is a therapist and counsellor, with over 20 years of clinical experience.

I offer support, guidance, and practical tools to individuals seeking to explore life with greater awareness, emotional depth, and self-responsibility. Every client is unique, so my therapeutic approach is carefully tailored – drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities depending on your goals and where you are on your personal journey.

My work integrates the most effective Western psychotherapeutic frameworks with the mindful, body-centred practices of the East. This synthesis encourages clients to take an active role in their own healing, often incorporating mindfulness exercises, relevant reading, or self-guided practices to support growth between sessions.

Initial appointments provide space to explore your presenting issues and assess the most appropriate way forward. Ongoing sessions are held weekly or fortnightly.

I hold professional qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychosexual Somatic Therapy and a number body-based disciplines. I am a qualified and experienced Yoga (Sivananda) and Mindfulness Teacher (Bangor University), and currently completing a three-year Psychosynthesis Counselling Diploma leading to BACP membership.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that once booked and paid for, there are no refunds available.

If the appointment is cancelled more than 7 days in advance of the session, you will be able to reschedule the therapy session. Appointments that are missed or cancelled within less than 7 days will be chargeable at 100% of the cost of the session. By booking an appointment you kindly agree to these terms.
