Angus is a therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience.
I have been working with individuals in therapeutic and contemplative settings for over twenty years. My work focuses on supporting people to explore life with greater awareness, emotional depth, and self-understanding.
Every client is unique, so my approach is always tailored to the person in front of me. Rather than applying a single method, I draw from a range of therapeutic perspectives depending on what feels most helpful for your situation and goals.
My work integrates contemporary Western psychotherapy with the reflective and mindfulness-based traditions of the East. This combination can help people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.
Alongside conversation-based therapy, sessions may sometimes include reflective practices such as mindfulness and breath-work, helping to bring greater clarity and presence to the work we are doing together.
Initial sessions provide space to explore what is bringing you to therapy and to consider the most helpful way forward. Ongoing sessions are usually held weekly.
I hold professional qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychosexual Somatic Therapy, and I am a qualified Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. I am currently in the final year of a three-year Psychosynthesis Counselling Diploma at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London, which leads to BACP and UKCP membership.
