FULLY BOOKED
Whether you stay on-site or off, this 7-night adventure on one of Thailand’s most stunning islands promises to be the experience of a lifetime. Having visited Koh Phangan many times, I can attest that it is a true paradise, a haven from the hustle and bustle of modern life, complete with secret beaches and pristine jungles.
What will you experience on this retreat?
Retreats offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in your practice, both on and off the mat. In our morning hatha classes, I will guide you into the blissful connection of body and breath through physical asana practice. Evening sessions will be dedicated to exploring meditation, releasing unwanted emotions, and cultivating deep mental stillness. Together as a group, we will engage in bioenergetics, ecstatic dance, circling, breath-work, philosophical inquiry, and much more.
Ultimately, I hope this retreat will help you rediscover any lost parts of yourself, reconnect with your aliveness, and make your heart sing!
Guest Teacher, Natalie Abraham
I am thrilled to share that a friend and co-teacher who lives on Koh Phangan, Natalie Abraham, will lead some bonus evening workshops for us during the retreat. Natalie Abraham is a certified Somatic Trauma Therapist, an erotic educator, intimacy arts expert and heart initiator who has taught internationally. Expect the sensual and the unexpected! Some practical suggestions
Given that Koh Phangan is a fairly remote destination and a visit there should not be rushed, it is suggested that you may like to take some time either side of the retreat – time to explore, rest and soak up the energy of the place.
I am planning to be on the island some days before the retreat, and will most likely stay on the island for a week after the retreat. There are many inexpensive and delightful places to stay locally, pre or post retreat. From beach huts at $20 per night, to five star resorts, you can find accommodation to suit every budget. If you are looking for a mid-range beach hotel with amazing food, you may like to stay at one of my favourite chilled beach spots – such at The Phangan Cove, Koh Phangan. But be advised that January is a popular month and reservations, and indeed flights, should be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.
