7-Day Retreat in Koh Phangan, Thailand

A Retreat for Deep Rest, Clarity & Reset

A carefully held 7-day retreat to step out of the noise and return to clarity, presence, and yourself.

All guests will stay on-site at Arcana, one of Koh Phangan’s most beautiful new wellness centres — a thoughtfully designed space set in lush tropical surroundings, created for rest, restoration, and deep inner work.

Koh Phangan itself is a true paradise. Away from the noise and pace of modern life, the island offers a rare sense of space and simplicity — with quiet beaches, dense jungle, and a natural rhythm that invites you to slow down, breathe, and return to what matters.

What you’ll experience:

This retreat is not about adding more, but about gently stripping back — creating the conditions for clarity, presence, and a deeper connection to yourself.

Each day will follow a carefully held rhythm. Mornings begin in silence, moving into guided practice — grounding the body, steadying the breath, and establishing a felt sense of presence. Throughout the week, sessions will explore meditation, breathwork, and bioenergetics, alongside space for reflection and inquiry.

There will also be time woven in for rest and integration — whether that’s enjoying Arcana’s spa facilities, walking in nature, or simply doing very little at all.

Rather than a packed schedule, the emphasis is on depth. On creating an environment where something real can shift — not through effort, but through attention, awareness, and space.

By the end of the week, the intention is simple: that you feel more here, more settled, and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.

Some practical suggestions

Koh Phangan is a relatively remote island, and the journey there is best approached without rushing. If you’re able to, it’s well worth arriving a day or two before the retreat begins — giving yourself time to settle, acclimatise, and arrive more fully into the experience.

Similarly, allowing a little time at the end of the retreat can be valuable. Rather than heading straight back into the pace of daily life, a couple of extra days can help you integrate the work, rest more deeply, and leave feeling truly complete.

I will be on the island in the days leading up to the retreat, and likely for a short time afterwards as well.

There is a wide range of accommodation available locally for any additional nights you may wish to book — from simple beach huts to more refined and comfortable hotels — so you can easily find something that suits your preference and budget.

January is a popular time to visit Koh Phangan, so flights and accommodation are best booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Lunch and dinner are not included, giving you flexibility throughout the week. Students may choose to eat on-site at Arcana’s restaurant, where high-quality meals are available at a reasonable additional cost, or dine out at one of the many excellent cafés and restaurants on the island.

It is likely that on a number of evenings we will head out together as a group to enjoy some of Koh Phangan’s best local spots — a relaxed and enjoyable way to connect, explore, and experience the island.

Facilities

Arcana is one of Koh Phangan’s most impressive new wellness centres — a beautifully designed, high-end space dedicated to rest, restoration, and wellbeing.

The retreat will take place within its expansive practice spaces and lush tropical surroundings, with full access to a wide range of spa and wellness facilities, including saunas, ice baths, pools, and relaxation areas.

This is a step up in terms of comfort, design, and overall experience from more traditional retreat venues — offering a setting that genuinely supports the depth and quality of the work.
